WORK ROOTED IN PURPOSE AND AUTHENTICITY
With a 30-year career in communications spanning agency and in-house roles across both independents and global networks, I've been lucky to have worked with many of the best in the business — from household brands to global organisations driving change. My focus has always been on helping people and businesses find their authentic voice and use it to make a real difference.

Twenty years ago, I started my own agency, which became known for its people-first culture, creativity and results-driven delivery, redefining what strong, values-led communications could look like.

We were particularly proud to be awarded B Corp accreditation. I’m passionate about supporting organisations that believe in building a better world, and who measure success by more than just profit.

Post-Covid, after a period of upheaval, a move to Cornwall offered the space to reset and rebuild. My “begin-again” life here has brought me full circle - back to the sea, and back to work rooted in purpose, passion and authenticity.

Today, from strategic comms leadership to purpose-driven consultancy and a Director role with local CIC Goodfest Cornwall, my work is guided by a simple belief: that business can and should be a force for good.

BUSINESS CAN BE A FORCE FOR GOOD
The triple bottom line — balancing people, planet, and profit — is an approach I believe in deeply.
Movements like B Lab UK, the Better Business Act, and the Better Business Network are helping to reshape what “good business” looks like, showing that purpose and profit can coexist, and that doing good is also good business. Other initiatives such as Business Declares, The Chancery Lane Project, and Responsible Futures continue to drive collaboration and change across sectors.
Alongside my client work, I’m continually developing my understanding in this space. Recent learning includes:
-
Carbon Literacy Training – University of Exeter
-
B Changemakers: B Corp Training – Plymouth University & LEAP Eco Team
-
Futures Climate Leaders Programme – Plymouth University
-
Climate Pilots Programme – Climate Outreach
-
AI for Business – The Alan Turing Institute & Falmouth University
-
Cornwall AI Summit – Exploring ethical innovation and responsible technology

This all combines to help me advise clients credibly and with the latest thinking. Oh and I'm working through the B Corp accreditation process ... again!
