Work Rooted In Purpose And Authenticity

From Cornflakes and Kimchi, to Conservation and Climate Change, my focus has always been on helping people and businesses find their authentic voice and use it to make a real difference.

About Force 4 Good

Over twenty years ago, I started my own agency, which became known for its great people and results-driven delivery. We defined what strong, values-led communications could look like.

I was particularly proud to achieve B Corp accreditation, an approach which I’m passionate about. Today I want to target my energy on embracing and supporting organisations that believe in creating a better world, and who measure success by more than just profit.

After closing the London agency, a move to Cornwall has given me the space to focus on work that mirrors my beliefs in purpose, passion and authenticity. Having grown up on the Northumberland coast, I’m loving being back by the sea, surrounded by beautiful open country and a way of life that continually reconnects me with the values that matter most.

Today my work is guided by a simple belief: that business can and should be a force for good.

THE FUTURE OF BUSINESS IS VALUES-LED

The triple bottom line — balancing people, planet, and profit — is an approach I believe in deeply.

Movements like B Lab UK, Creatives for Cimate Change, Clean Creatives, the Better Business Act, and the Living Wage Foundation are helping to reshape what “good business” looks like, showing that purpose and profit can coexist, and that doing good is also good business.

Alongside my client work, I’m continually developing my understanding in this space.

Recent learning includes:

This all combines to help me advise clients credibly and with the latest thinking.

MY APPROACH

I believe in keeping things open and transparent, practical and effective, and I always work hard to simplify the complex.

I’m clear and straightforward in how I think and work. I bring a strong commercial perspective, alongside creativity, and I’m happy to get close to the detail when it matters.

I know how to step back and help you see things differently - cutting through noise, simplifying complexity, and focusing on what will have the most impact.

I’m easy to work with. I take what I do seriously, but not myself - and a warm sense of humour usually comes with it.

My long-established network gives me access to a bank of trusted experts to introduce and deliver the strategy that we determine.

I've always believed that building trust and authentic relationships is critical to success. With trust in businesses and institutions at its lowest ever, there has never been a more important time to proactively look at using this lever for your business.

WHO I'VE WORKED WITH

Experience covers briefs from global brands to entrepreneurial start-ups, across corporate, consumer, B2B and niche stakeholder communities.

From establishing proactive, earned media services for household brands, to protecting the reputations of the world’s most popular tourism destinations and staging the first ever renewable energy briefing for city investors, there isn’t much my career in PR, communications and reputation management hasn’t thrown at me and I’ve delivered.
